Club President’s Report Westfield Garden Club Beverly A. Gelwicks, Pres. Club’s Mission Statement The object of the Club shall be the advancement of gardening, flower arranging, civic beautification and conservation of our natural resources. Meeting Time and Location The meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month unless otherwise stated. The club meets in member’s homes, local church halls and community buildings. The meetings are not open to the public but guests may be invited by members. Calendar of Upcoming Programs and Special Events The Club will meet in February at the Methodist Church in Mayville. Members will make Valentine favors for Absolut Health Care of Westfield. In March the annual business meeting and election of two directors for 2008-2010 will take place at the Mayville Library. The April meeting has been rescheduled for the third Tuesday. The Club will visit the “Kent Cottage” in Westfield. An afternoon tea will be provided by Sandy Brown, owner of the cottage.
